"PIPPI" STYLE

According to my husband who was watching silly me the other day at my nephew's 1st birthday party, my style is Pippi Longstocking...there I was in my black, peasant vintagey, knee-length dress and my white, gray and beige striped thigh-length socks that usually scrunch right beneath the knees and yes, I can totally see this...I love that after 35 years of being single, I have someone, my husband, who sweetly scrutinizes me and helps me understand who I am and what I love...how wonderful to be the woman in his life!!! I have been considering this Pippi label I have and realizing that in my physical appearance and in my home, COZY, is what it is all about...I consider myself cute...I wear clothes that scream comfy, I love the raw look and wear no makeup, my new bangs in my hair add to this cutiepieness...I think I am a little pretty, but cute is the best word I would give myself, although I do revel in my husband's addresses of "beautiful" and "gorgeous" to me!!! Our home is cozy too...paintings, pictures and sweet keepsakes grace every ounce of our walls...our bed is covered in cuddly blankets that fit the season...I adore candles and Christmas lights...in our room, I have a vase filled with red Christmas lights all year round and a white feather Christmas tree with white lights that I keep lit all year as it glows through the tear drop ornaments hanging on it and the greenish-blue accents that surround it...
