Exercise is something I have dreaded having to do, yet when I discovered yoga and the way simple stretches made me feel, I understood, it is so worth it...I have been known to say that when I'm feeling down: stretching, showering and drinking a good amount of water revives me and puts me in a better mood. It is this simple caring for ourselves that makes our world brighter. Recently, my husband bought us a Kinect with Zumba on it and our kids have been so much more active since we got it. Zumba promotes coordination, is cardio supporting and rhythmically fun. Yoga teaches us to trust the power of our bones to hold us in poses and the stretching of our muscles to release tension.
